POSITION 1 – KITCHEN HAND
Full time / Casual
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and energetic Kitchen Hand to join our team. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone passionate about food and eager to grow in a professional Korean restaurant kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Washing, sanitising, and storing dishes, cookware, and equipment
- Keeping kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas clean
- Assisting with receiving and storing food deliveries
- Preparing basic ingredients as directed (peeling, chopping, portioning)
- Supporting kitchen staff during busy service periods
- Following all food safety and OH&S standards
What We're Looking For
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable and hardworking team player
- Availability across weekday and weekend shifts including evenings
- Food Handler Certificate preferred but not essential
- Previous kitchen experience is a bonus but not required

POSITION 2 – COOK
Full time / Casual
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cook to help prepare dishes that reflect the heart of Korean cuisine. You will work alongside our Head Chef on daily preparation, service execution, and maintaining quality across our full menu.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking Korean dishes including banchan, soups, grills, and mains
- Following recipes and plating guides to ensure consistency
- Conducting prep work including marinating, portioning, and mise en place
- Maintaining a clean and organised workstation
- Monitoring food quality, freshness, and portion control
- Complying with all food safety and HACCP requirements
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 1–2 years experience in a professional kitchen
- Experience with Korean cuisine or a strong interest in learning
- Food Handler Certificate required
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays

POSITION 3 – CHEF
Full time / Casual
About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Chef to lead our kitchen and help shape the Boseong dining experience. You will oversee daily operations, develop menu items, and mentor junior team members while upholding our reputation for quality Korean cuisine.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading daily kitchen operations and service execution
- Developing and refining menu items in line with our Korean cuisine identity
- Overseeing food preparation, quality control, and plating standards
- Managing stock, supplier orders, and minimising food waste
- Training and mentoring cooks and kitchen hands
- Ensuring compliance with food safety legislation and OH&S requirements
- Collaborating with front-of-house on service flow and guest experience
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in a professional kitchen, including a senior role
- Expertise in Korean cuisine or a genuine passion to specialise
- Formal culinary qualifications (Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)
- Food Safety Supervisor certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Calm and effective under pressure during high-volume service
