Job Title: Experienced Sri Lankan Chef / Sous Chef

Salary: $80,000 + Super
About Us:
$80,000 is a renowned, busy restaurant serving authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. Known for traditional Sri Lankan food, we are looking for a passionate chef to join our kitchen team and bring authentic flavors to our patrons.
The Role:
Prepare and cook authentic Sri Lankan dishes, including specialty items.
Manage kitchen operations, including menu development and stock control.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
Lead and mentor junior kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen.
Relevant formal qualifications (Certificate IV or Diploma in Hospitality/Cookery).
Expertise in authentic Sri Lankan spices and cooking techniques (preferred).
Must be able to work under pressure and during weekends/nights.
Proficiency in English.
