Shore Music Academy is a premium 1-on-1 piano tuition business operating across Sydney's Northern Beaches and Sydney CBD. We offer private piano and music theory lessons to students of all ages and levels, from curious beginners aged 3 through to advanced AMEB exam candidates and adult learners.
We're growing and looking for passionate, qualified piano teachers to join our team and deliver exceptional lessons under the Shore Music Academy brand.
About the Role
As a Piano Teacher at Shore Music Academy, you'll deliver private 1-on-1 piano and music theory lessons directly to students at their homes across the Northern Beaches and Sydney CBD.
This is a casual role with flexible hours that fits around your lifestyle. Whether you're an experienced teacher looking for a reliable stream of students without the admin overhead of running your own studio, or a passionate AMEB-qualified musician ready to kickstart your teaching journey we'd love to hear from you. Shore Music Academy provides full training and ongoing support so you can focus on what you do best: teaching great lessons.
What You'll Be Teaching
- Piano lessons across all levels, beginner through to advanced.
- Music theory integrated into lessons or as standalone sessions.
- AMEB exam preparation across all grades.
- Styles including classical, contemporary and jazz.
What We're Looking For
- AMEB qualified, this is our key requirement.
- Teaching experience is a plus but not essential, we provide full training and ongoing support through the Shore Music Academy framework.
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC), mandatory before commencing.
- Warm, patient and passionate about music.
- Reliable, punctual and professional.
- Own transport for in-home lessons (preferred but not essential).
- ABN or willingness to obtain one.
What We Offer
- $45–$60 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
- Flexible scheduling across weekdays and weekends.
- Existing student base, we bring the students to you.

Pay: $45.00 – $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 1.0 per week
