What you'll be doing
As the Whole of Health Nurse Manager – Mental Health Services, you will lead and support clinicians and service managers to deliver strategic projects that improve patient flow, service efficiency and clinical outcomes. Using Clinical Redesign methodologies, you'll drive sustainable change across Mental Health Services while supporting achievement of key performance targets, including Emergency Treatment Performance (ETP).
You will champion innovative approaches to care delivery and build capability across teams to embed improvements into everyday practice.
Lead service improvement and redesign projects that enhance patient flow and access to care
Coach and support managers and clinicians to achieve measurable performance outcomes
Identify and implement innovative models of care that improve patient experiences and outcomes
Drive sustainable process improvements that strengthen clinical safety, quality and resource utilisation
Partner with consumers, clinicians and stakeholders to deliver person-centred and high-quality services

Essential Requirements:
Qualification: Registered Nurse with relevant tertiary qualifications
Registration: Currently held AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Selection Criteria:
Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Nursing, current registration with AHPRA as RN and demonstrated experience clinical and service improvement experience.
Demonstrated experience in applying project management knowledge to effectively lead and undertake complex projects – and understanding of change management, ideally within a NSW Heath or similar agencies in other jurisdictions.
Demonstrated program, personnel management skills and experience including project design, implementation, reporting and evaluation to ensure high quality deliverables.
Demonstrated experience in analytical skills including the ability to access, assess and critically evaluate project related data and prepare reports and briefs for escalation or stakeholder review.
Demonstrated high level interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills with the ability to prepare and facilitate presentations for executive, stakeholders and large groups with the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team, lead others to foster innovation, achieve outcomes, meet deadlines and achieve project objectives.
Well-developed oral and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare high level reports and papers for publication, as well as sound negotiation and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to inspire, lead and motivate staff and stakeholders, as well as ability to form effective working relationships with senior clinicians, senior manager and external partners.
