Crew Leader/Arborist(Cert III)
3–5 days per week
$37.50–$45/hr depending on experience/qualifications
Essential
- Cert III Arboriculture
- MR licence
- White card
- Police Check
- 3–5 years recent tree-industry experience
- Confident driving a 6-speed manual truck daily
-Confident and competent on a chainsaw
- Confident operating a chipper
- Understands how a tree crew operates
Desirable
- Working With Children Check
- First Aid
Responsibilities
- Drive and take ownership of the truck
- Ground operations / support the climber
- Operate Machinery(Truck,Chippers, Stump grinders, skid steer ect)
- Maintain equipment and machinery
- Keep machinery clean and maintained
- Daily equipment/truck checks
- Keep equipment and yard organised and job-ready
- Maintenance/yard days when required
- Jump into whatever work the business needs that day

- Reliable
- Takes ownership without needing constant direction
- Looks after equipment like it's their own
- Notices problems before they become problems
- Doesn't make careless mistakes — damage, incorrect fuel, etc.
- Safe and detail-oriented
- Takes pride in their work
- Works well with the rest of the crew
- Flexible — not someone who thinks "I'm only here to drive the truck
We maintain a strict zero-tolerance drug and alcohol policy to ensure the safety of our climbing crews. The company reserves the right to conduct testing under reasonable suspicion or post-incident.
Pay: $37.50 – $45.00 per hour

Experience:
- recent tree industry: 3 years (Preferred)
