Head Barista – Victoria Park
We are looking for a passionate and highly skilled Head Barista to help launch and lead our new, premium coffee lounge in Victoria Park.
This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes coffee, thrives in a fast-paced but quality-focused environment, and wants to play a key part in building something new from the ground up.
About the Role:
As our Head Barista, you will be involved before our official opening, working closely with the owners to:
- Develop and refine a signature coffee menu
- Assist in selecting equipment, beans, brewing methods, and suppliers
- Establish workflow systems and quality standards
- Train new staff and help set the tone for a high-end café experience
Once open, you will oversee daily barista operations, maintain consistency, lead the barista team, and uphold the premium standards of our brand.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is deeply passionate about coffee, its craft, and ongoing innovation
- Has multiple years of barista experience across a variety of cafés and styles
- Possesses a strong understanding of specialty coffee, roasting, extraction, and menu development
- Is a natural leader who can guide a team and improve efficiency without compromising quality
- Brings energy, motivation, and professionalism every day
- Holds a Cert II/III in Hospitality
- Has a valid Food Safety Certificate
- Is excited to grow with a new café and help shape its identity from day one
Location: Victoria Park, Perth
