Our visiting respiratory, cardiology and paediatric specialists help ensure families receive quality care close to home. Beyond day-to-day services, our Emergency Preparedness team is always planning ahead - boosting disaster readiness, protecting our facilities, and supporting the safety and wellbeing of patients, staff, visitors and the wider Woorabinda community.

Provide staff escorts, respond to calls for assistance, and manage challenging behaviours while working respectfully with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Monitor CCTV, complete lock-up checks, manage incident reports and logs, identify risks or maintenance issues, and liaise with internal teams and external agencies to maintain safety and compliance.
About you:
While no formal qualifications are required, a Certificate II or III in Security Operations and a Class 1 Security License (QLD) will be highly regarded. You also have a solid understanding of fire safety and security practices within a healthcare setting.
You have strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to de-escalate situations and manage conflict professionally across a range of environments.
You can prioritise tasks, manage your time effectively, and stay calm under pressure while balancing multiple responsibilities.
