Your new role:
As the Clinical Nurse Consultant - IMAST Lead, you will provide advanced clinical leadership and operational support across Internal Medicine, ensuring safe, responsive and effective care delivery during periods of increased patient demand.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Internal Medicine Acuity & Support Team and coordinate resources across medical wards
Provide expert support for deteriorating, high-acuity and complex patients
Facilitate patient flow through admissions, discharges and escalation management
Mentor nursing staff and promote evidence-based practice, safety and quality outcomes
About you:
You are an experienced nursing leader with strong acute medical expertise, exceptional clinical judgement and the ability to thrive in dynamic healthcare environments.
Skills & Experience
Advanced clinical experience in acute medical nursing and patient deterioration management
Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor and support nursing teams
Strong decision-making, communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA), with postgraduate qualifications highly regarded
