Retail People Relations Coordinator
About the role
Retail People Relations (RPR) is a globally connected team within People, Communications & Culture.
We play a key role in shaping positive workplace experiences, through delivering trusted People Relations expertise across bp’s company owned retail network in Australia and New Zealand
We're looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Retail People Relations Coordinator to join our ANZ Retail People Relations team on a 12-month fixed term contract.
In this role, you'll provide operational and administrative support across a range of People Relations activities, helping ensure our processes, systems and records are accurate, efficient and compliant. You'll work closely with our Advisors, Manager and Operations & Advisory (O&A) team to support employee lifecycle activities, maintain key databases, manage shared inboxes and drive continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
Concern Triage: Be responsible for the team inbox, record and categorise concerns prioritising based on importance and complexity.
Maintain People Relations databases and records, ensuring information remains accurate and up to date.
Continuous Improvement: Identify process gaps and suggest improvements
Manage and organise shared inboxes, including email allocation, filing and archiving.
Query Resolution: Respond and action low level and risk People Relations queries across the employee lifecycle (eg performance and conduct)
Support the maintenance and update of People Relations templates, letters and guidance materials.
Coordinate stakeholder communications and administrative activities.
Develop and update process guides and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Build strong working relationships across People & Culture, Operations & Advisory and Retail Operations.
What we're looking for
Strong administration, coordination or customer service experience.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience maintaining databases or shared mailboxes.
Salesforce and Workday experience is desirable but not essential.
