Full job description
We are currently seeking a medical receptionist/secretary for a gastroenterology practice in Ashburton. The successful applicant will have a flexible attitude to work and be a good team player. This is a part time position, 3 days a week. Hours are 9.00am to 5.00 pm but may vary according to clinic times.
Key responsibilities will include:
Facilitating of consulting sessions including scheduling patient appointments
Answering telephone calls & assisting patients with their queries
Billing and receipting patients
Daily / General administrative duties including scanning, emailing, etc.
Skills and Experience
Knowledge of medical software Xestro (preferable) although training will be provided
Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
Ability to multitask and show initiative
Ample free parking
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
