About the Role
The Business Manager 2 works with the school principal and school executive and is responsible for the efficient management of the school’s business functions including administration, asset management, procurement, finance and work health and safety.
May be required to supervise and lead the school administrative team and supervise non-teaching staff. The role may lead or manage projects or business functions in collaboration with other school staff and additionally may be required to manage the work of contractors from time to time

Additional Information
Melonba Public School is a new school located in the South Creek Network with over 1020 students. The school is located in Melonba in the north-west growth corridor of Sydney which has a high proportion of EAL/D students. The school is situated in a diverse and multicultural community. Student enrolments are expected to increase significantly in the first five years of operation as the surrounding area undergoes extensive development.
The school has capacity for up to 1000 students. Melonba Public School will include three support classes for students with disabilities and additional learning needs from 2026 and planning is underway for a preschool to open in 2027. The school is located at Swallowtail Street, Melonba, alongside Melonba High School.
