Trade Logistics Driver — Materials, Equipment & Site Support (Carrum Downs)

The role
This role supports our crews by ensuring materials, equipment, and site logistics are handled smoothly each day. You’ll deliver and collect materials, coordinate equipment movements, assist with rubbish removal and clean-ups, and provide clear proof (photos/notes) so the team stays aligned and jobs run efficiently.
This is a practical, fast-paced role suited to someone who is reliable, organised, and takes real pride in presentation and detail.
What you’ll be responsible for
Daily deliveries & collections
- Deliver materials and equipment to job sites and team locations as directed
- Collect leftover materials, returns, and equipment and ensure they’re accounted for
- Coordinate tip runs / waste removal / skip movements as required
Documentation & attention to detail
- Take clear photos of:
- delivered materials (quantity/condition/location on site)
- completed pick-ups/returns
- clean-ups and rubbish removal (before/after where needed)
- Provide basic notes/updates to confirm what was delivered/collected and any issues found (damaged items, missing parts, access problems)
Site support & cleanliness
- Assist with maintaining safe, tidy work areas when delivering/collecting
- Ensure rubbish and materials are managed responsibly and professionally
- Represent the business respectfully on customer sites
Vehicle, safety & compliance
- Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain a clean, presentable vehicle
- Follow safe loading/tie-down procedures and site safety requirements
- Communicate delays or changes early so the team can adjust
What we’re looking for
Must have
- Valid Australian driver licence (manual preferred)
- Strong reliability and time management (this role impacts multiple teams daily)
- Physically capable (lifting/carrying and moving materials/equipment)
- Confident communicator with a calm, solutions-focused attitude
- Comfortable using a phone for photos, messages, and updates
Highly regarded
- Experience in trades, construction logistics, delivery driving, or yard operations
- Trailer experience
- Forklift ticket and/or MR licence
