Your Reformer is a connected fitness business built around premium Pilates reformer equipment, proprietary commercial software and a digital content platform. Founded in Melbourne, the business serves customers across Australia, the US, the UK and Europe. Revenue is approaching $100M, and B2B accounts for over half and are growing. The business is bootstrapped, profitable and self-funding.
Context
The business operates across five product areas: home and commercial reformers, three commercial software products on recurring B2B subscription, a consumer home app, and a Pilates education platform. A smart hardware device is in development. Technology sits across all of it.
The business is moving from a vendor-led technology model to a fully in-house engineering function. The CTO is the hire that makes that transition happen. The first year is defined by building internal capability, consolidating platform ownership, and governing a global ERP implementation alongside the CFO.
Ownership
- Engineering team: hiring, management, standards and culture from an early base
- Technology architecture and all technical design decisions
- Platform roadmap across commercial software, consumer app and data infrastructure
- All technology vendor relationships
- ERP implementation, governance, and integration accountability
- Internal AI and automation adoption
- Data architecture and business metrics reliability
