Randwick City Council is an innovative and progressive Council committed to serving our vibrant community on the eastern beaches of Sydney. Our Arts & Culture Team is seeking an Arts Programs Lead to join the team.
Purpose:
The Arts Programs Lead is part of a dedicated and passionate Arts and Culture team within the Culture and Place business unit. The Arts Programs Lead plays a key role in supporting and fostering the development and delivery of diverse creative programs, spaces and initiatives in alignment with Randwick Council’s Arts & Culture Strategy.
About the role:
- Develop and deliver innovative arts programs, exhibitions and events which reflect the cultural identity and needs of the community. Programs should be in alignment with models of best practice and industry standards.
- Facilitate multidisciplinary creative access to diverse Council-owned spaces and regularly seek ways to strengthen models of creative access.
- Strengthen local sector capacity through information sharing, community building, creative networking, and program design and delivery.
About you:
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable environment for arts and cultural programming.
- Expertise in planning, delivering and evaluating arts programs and events.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
