We’re looking for an experienced, energetic and motivated Bar Manager to take the reins of our busy venue and play a key role in driving the success of our bar operation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hospitality professional who knows what it takes to run a great bar — from creating an exceptional guest experience and maintaining high standards, to leading a strong team and keeping the operation running smoothly.
You’ll be a hands-on leader who is confident managing people, stock, service and day-to-day operations. Most importantly, you’ll bring energy, professionalism and a genuine passion for hospitality.
About the Role
As Bar Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall performance and presentation of the bar, including:
- Leading, motivating and developing the bar team
- Maintaining consistently high standards of service, presentation and cleanliness
- Managing day-to-day bar operations and ensuring smooth service
- Rostering and staff management
- Training and mentoring team members
- Managing stock levels, ordering and inventory control
- Monitoring beverage costs and minimising wastage
- Ensuring responsible service of alcohol and compliance with relevant legislation
- Working closely with the wider management team to achieve venue goals
- Creating an energetic and positive culture within the team
- Ensuring guests receive an outstanding experience every time
- Being hands-on during busy service periods and leading by example
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in a Bar Manager or senior bar leadership role
- Is confident leading and developing a team
- Has strong knowledge of bar operations, beverage service and stock control
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills
- Can remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment
- Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service
- Has strong attention to detail and high personal standards
- Is commercially minded and understands the importance of costs, sales and profitability
- Leads from the front and isn’t afraid to get hands-on
- Brings a positive attitude, strong work ethic and genuine passion for hospitality
