Airpro Mechanical is a well-established, family-owned Western Australian company specialising in commercial HVAC installation, service and maintenance. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and qualified Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician to join our team.
Reporting to the Service/Project Manager, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a range of commercial HVAC equipment across commercial, industrial and construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs on HVAC equipment, including chillers, CRAC units and associated systems
- Carry out preventative maintenance to ensure reliable system operation
- Test refrigeration systems and repair or replace defective components
- Charge refrigeration systems and ensure compliance with industry and environmental regulations
- Read and interpret technical drawings, service manuals and specifications
- Complete service reports and maintenance documentation
- Work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality service
Requirements
- Trade qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
- Refrigerant Handling Licence
- Current Manual Driver’s Licence
- National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive work ethic
- Good communication and customer service skills
