We're looking for a passionate Support Worker who wants to help build Lilacare's presence throughout the region while supporting people to remain independent in their own homes.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organisation and become part of establishing our newest service area.

More Than Just a Support Worker Role
Initially, you'll provide high-quality support to NDIS and Aged Care participants throughout the Far South Coast.
As Lilacare grows within the region, we are looking for someone who wants to grow with us.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to assist with:
- Growing the local workforce.
- Supporting new participants.
- Building relationships within the community.
- Networking with local health professionals and referral partners.
- Assisting with service development.
As the region expands, there will be an opportunity to transition into a part-time Care Coordinator (or Support Partner under the new Support at Home model), helping lead and coordinate services across the Far South Coast.
This is a genuine career opportunity for someone who wants to help build something meaningful within their own community.
About the Role
As a Support Worker with Lilacare, you'll assist NDIS and Aged Care participants to remain independent in their own homes while supporting them to achieve their goals and stay connected with their community.
Your role may include:
- Personal care
- Community access
- Domestic assistance
- Meal preparation
- Transport to appointments
- Medication assistance
- Social support
- Supporting independence and quality of life
Shifts are available across mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
Initially, many services may be brokerage referrals while we continue growing our direct client base throughout the region.
Essential Requirements:
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care or similar (or currently studying)
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Reliable, registered and insured motor vehicle
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Smartphone
- Right to work in Australia
