Your new role:
As a Senior Information Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring information requests are managed efficiently, accurately and in accordance with legislative requirements while supporting a collaborative and customer-focused service. You will:
Act as a delegated Primary Decision-Maker for Right to Information (RTI) applications and manage complex information access requests.
Provide guidance, support and training to team members while ensuring requests are processed within legislative timeframes.
Liaise with applicants, legal representatives, government agencies and healthcare professionals to facilitate information access outcomes.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, policy development and quality activities that enhance service delivery.
About you:
We are looking for a knowledgeable and highly organised professional who can balance legislative compliance with exceptional customer service and stakeholder engagement. You have:
Demonstrated expertise in information access legislation, including the Right to Information Act 2009 and confidentiality requirements within healthcare settings.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate, build relationships and provide sound advice to diverse stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities, work independently and deliver outcomes within strict deadlines.
A proactive and solutions-focused approach, with experience identifying process improvements and contributing to team success.
