I'm looking for a highly experienced and passionate Head Chef with 5+ years experience to lead the kitchen in our busy café and help deliver a consistently exceptional food experience for our customers.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to producing high-quality café food with outstanding presentation.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Preparing and executing a high-quality all-day café menu to a consistently excellent standard
- Ensuring exceptional presentation and attention to detail across every dish
- Creating fresh and delicious grab-and-go cabinet options on a daily basis
- Managing weekly stock takes, stock rotation, and ordering of all kitchen supplies
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-maintained kitchen at all times
-Ensuring all meals are prepared with careful consideration of dietary requirements and food safety standards
- Leading by example and supporting a positive, efficient kitchen culture
- Communicating effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and a high level of customer satisfaction
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a chef role, with previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef
- Confidence in running a busy café kitchen independently
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent knowledge of stock control, ordering, and kitchen operations
- A proactive, reliable, and hardworking attitude
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and consistently deliver high standards
We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, takes initiative, and is willing to contribute positively to every aspect of the kitchen. This role is best suited to a chef who enjoys being fully involved in the day-to-day running of a successful café and takes genuine pride in maintaining exceptional standards.
