Experienced Sales Representative – Indian Grocery Wholesale
Location: Melbourne, VIC
Pride India Imports is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to manage and grow our customer base across Melbourne.
This is a permanent, field-based position involving regular visits to Indian grocery stores, taking orders, managing sales and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit grocery stores across Melbourne to take orders and promote our product range
- Manage and grow sales within an assigned territory
- Maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing customers
- Identify new customers and business opportunities
- Introduce new products, promotions and special offers
- Follow up on orders, stock requirements and customer enquiries
- Provide regular sales and market feedback
Essential Requirements
- 3–5 years of sales experience in Indian groceries, FMCG or food wholesale distribution
- Strong knowledge of Indian grocery products, brands and the Melbourne market
- Must speak Hindi and English confidently to communicate effectively with customers
- Must be an Australian permanent resident or citizen
- This position is not suitable for students or student visa holders
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills
- Self-motivated, reliable and capable of working independently
- Valid Australian driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Existing relationships with Indian grocery retailers will be highly regarded
Salary
A highly competitive salary package will be offered to the right candidate, based on experience and industry knowledge.
