We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant / Business Analyst to join a client project on a contract basis. This engagement will see you working closely with business stakeholders and project teams to support a Business Central transformation initiative.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with stakeholders, understanding business processes, translating requirements into solutions, and helping drive successful project outcomes.
Contract engagement: Approx 6 months
- Facilitate requirements workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions.
- Gather, document and analyse business, functional and non-functional requirements.
- Map current and future state business processes.
- Develop user stories, functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with technical teams to support solution design and delivery.
- Maintain project documentation, action registers, risks and decision logs.
- Support system, integration and user acceptance testing activities.
- Create test scripts, assist with defect management and quality assurance.
- Support user adoption, training and knowledge transfer initiatives.
- Provide functional guidance and best practice recommendations for Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Proven experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central projects.
- Strong Business Analyst and/or Functional Consultant experience.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
- Experience with process mapping, requirements gathering and documentation.
- Understanding of ERP business processes across finance, operations and supply chain.
- Experience supporting testing and quality assurance activities.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently within a consulting and project delivery environment.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications.
- Experience within consulting or professional services environments.
- Exposure to data migration, integrations or solution optimisation projects.
- Experience working across multiple business functions and stakeholders.
- Contract engagement of approximately 6 months.
- Hybrid working arrangement.
- Competitive daily rate.
- Immediate or short-notice availability preferred.
- Must be legally allowed to work in Australia for the duration of the contract.
