Banksia Kitchen is looking for a friendly, confident FOH all‑rounder to join our team. If you have a warm smile, great customer service skills, and enjoy working in a fast‑paced café, this role is perfect for you.
We are a modern, coastal café with a strong local following — and we want someone who can help us deliver an exceptional experience every day.
⭐ Availability Needed
- Monday to Friday (daytime shifts)
- One weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)
- Ideal for:
- Juniors who are not in school
- Gap‑year students
- Local adults wanting stable weekday work
- Anyone who thrives in a busy café environment

- A lovely, welcoming smile and positive energy
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Confident using POS, taking orders, and running food
- Ability to work quickly and stay organised during busy periods
- Professional, reliable, and team‑focused
- Upselling skills (suggesting pastries, specials, drinks) in a friendly, natural way
- Someone who enjoys connecting with locals and building relationships
- Experience in cafés preferred, but fast learners with great attitude are welcome

- Keeping FOH clean, tidy, and well‑organised
- Supporting barista and kitchen teams during busy periods
- Light prep and restocking
