Your opportunity:
Provide intentional Peer Support and model self-defined recovery strategies that support the assessment, intervention and referral of consumers admitted to an acute adult inpatient ward.
Provide consumers with education, information, referrals, and support from personal experience of recovery and of utilising mental health services and non-government agencies within an inpatient setting.
Under 25s of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Qld), it is a genuine occupational requirement for the incumbent to have a personal lived experience of mental illness and recovery and/or caring for someone with a lived experience of mental illness and recovery.
