About the Role
We are looking for a confident bartenders who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses an intimate understanding of Barangaroo’s vibrant dining and nightlife scene. You will craft classic and contemporary cocktails, maintain immaculate bar standards, and provide warm, attentive service to our discerning clientele.
Key Responsibilities
- Cocktail Craftsmanship: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and house specifications.
- Barangaroo Insight: Leverage existing knowledge of local clientele, trends, and the competitive Barangaroo hospitality landscape.
- Speed & Efficiency: Maintain composure and consistency during high-volume service periods without compromising quality.
- Stock & Compliance: Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, opening/closing procedures, and strict adherence to RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) guidelines.
- Guest Engagement: Create a welcoming atmosphere, make tailored drink recommendations, and build rapport with regulars and walk-ins alike.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of bartending experience in high-end bars, restaurants, or cocktail lounges.
- Skills: Extensive knowledge of mixology, spirits, wine, and beer; flair and speed behind the stick.
- Certifications: Current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate is mandatory.
- Availability: Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Attitude: A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a polished presentation and a passion for hospitality.
Pay: $26.44 – $47.58 per hour
