EXPERIENCED DENTAL ASSISTANT / DENTAL NURSE

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Dental Assistant / Dental Nurse to join our established, modern dental practice in Cranbourne 3977.
We have a highly experienced and friendly dental team and are looking for someone who can step into the role confidently and contribute from day one.
The position
- Part-time, 4–5 days per week
- Monday to Friday
- No weekend work
- $35–$38 per hour, depending on experience and suitability
- Negotiable terms for the right person

This is not an entry-level position.
The successful applicant will have recent, practical experience working as a Dental Assistant / Dental Nurse in a dental practice and be confident with both chairside assisting and sterilisation.
Essential requirements
- Relevant dental assisting qualification
- Recent dental assisting experience in a dental practice
- Strong chairside assisting skills
- Excellent knowledge of infection control and sterilisation procedures
- Experience managing a steri room and processing instruments
- Ability to prepare and turn over treatment rooms efficiently
- Excellent patient communication skills
- Strong computer skills
- Reliable, punctual and well presented
- Excellent organisation and time management
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy dental environment
- A positive attitude and genuine commitment to being part of a team
Experience with Oasis practice-management software is highly desirable.
Experience with reception and dental administration will also be highly regarded, as the role includes occasional reception relief.
