Trainer & Assessor – Wall and Ceiling Lining
Location: Port Melbourne, VIC
Employment Type: Contractor
Rate: $55–$75 per hour (based on qualifications and industry experience)
Minimum Commitment: 14 hours per week
Schedule: Evening and weekend classes (Penalty rates applicable on weekends)

We are on hunt for an experienced, industry-current trades professional to deliver and assess the CPC31220 Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining. You will play a vital role in mentoring apprentices, delivering high-quality vocational training, and shaping the next generation of skilled plasterers.

What You'll Be Doing
Deliver engaging classroom and practical on-the-job training in wall and ceiling lining.
Conduct competency-based assessments and provide constructive feedback to apprentices.
Maintain accurate, compliant student records in line with ASQA and RTO standards.
Ensure all training activities comply with relevant WHS and workplace regulations.
Support and guide students to successfully complete their qualification.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
Vocational Qualification: TAE40116 / TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or higher).
Trade Qualification: CPC31220 Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining (or equivalent superseded qualification).
Industry Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of recent, hands on the-tools experience in the wall and ceiling lining/plastering industry.
Compliance: Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and National Police Check.
Communication: Strong interpersonal, mentoring, and organizational skills with basic computer literacy.
