About the Role
As a Machine Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production and packaging machinery. Working within a fast paced food manufacturing environment, you'll monitor equipment performance, maintain product quality standards, and contribute to achieving daily production targets. This hands on role requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards. You'll be part of a supportive team that values reliability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities

Operate, monitor and adjust production machinery to meet manufacturing requirements
- Conduct start up checks, troubleshoot minor faults and minimise production downtime
- Complete product quality inspections and maintain accurate HACCP and GMP records
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, workplace safety and housekeeping standards
- Collaborate with production team members to achieve daily output and quality targets
About You
You are a reliable and safety-conscious operator who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment. You take pride in producing quality work, following established procedures, and contributing positively to a team. With strong attention to detail and sound mechanical aptitude, you can identify issues early and respond appropriately to support efficient operations. You are comfortable working in a chilled environment and committed to maintaining the highest food safety standards.

Previous machine operating experience within food manufacturing, meat processing or a similar production environment
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of HACCP, GMP and food safety requirements
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work safely in a chilled environment
- Strong communication skills and a proactive team-focused approach
