Redpearl Holding Pty Ltd trading as Supermercato is a Perth-based wholesale food supplier established in 2011. Originally operating as a small European grocer, the business has grown into a trusted supplier of fresh produce and specialty grocery products to more than 150 cafés, restaurants, pubs, yacht clubs, schools and supermarkets across Perth.
In May 2025, the company relocated to larger premises in Belmont, allowing the expansion of its product range to include herbs, spices, nuts, dairy products and imported European grocery lines. Supermercato is also the authorised importer and distributor of Granoro products from Italy for Western Australia and Victoria.
Due to continued growth and expansion of our supply network, we are seeking an experienced Supply and Distribution Manager to join our team.
About the Role
The Supply and Distribution Manager will be responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the supply, storage and distribution of fresh produce, grocery products and imported food products to our wholesale client base.
Key Responsibilities (ANZSCO Aligned)
- Planning, directing and coordinating the supply, storage and distribution of goods within the organisation
- Determining, implementing and monitoring purchasing, storage and distribution strategies, policies and procedures
- Managing inventory levels and ensuring adequate stock availability to meet customer demand
- Coordinating logistics operations including transport, delivery scheduling and warehouse management
- Monitoring supply chain performance and implementing improvements to maximise efficiency and reduce costs
- Liaising and negotiating with suppliers, wholesalers, growers and transport providers regarding pricing, supply agreements and delivery arrangements
- Overseeing the receiving, storage and dispatch of goods to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Managing relationships with domestic suppliers and coordinating international imports of European food products
- Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, quality standards and company policies
- Analysing market trends, supply chain risks and operational performance to support business growth
- Supervising warehouse and logistics staff involved in storage, handling and distribution activities
Skills and Experience Required
- Relevant Experience of 1-2 Years in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
- Strong organisational and analytical skills with the ability to manage complex supply operations
- Experience coordinating suppliers, warehouse operations and distribution networks
- Knowledge of inventory control, procurement processes and logistics planning
- Strong communication, negotiation and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced wholesale environment
Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
