Roofing Apprentices & Qualified Tradesmen Wanted – Canberra
Radiant Roofing is growing, and we’re looking for new team members to join us!
We are a small, Canberra-based roofing company specialising in new residential homes, with a strong focus on Colorbond roofing, fascia, guttering and battens.
Between our tradesmen, we have over 25 years of combined experience in metal roofing and roof tiling. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, a good work ethic and creating an environment where apprentices can learn the trade properly from experienced roofers.
We are looking for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year apprentices, qualified tradesmen and experienced leading hands.

What We Do
Our main focus is new residential construction, including:
- New Colorbond roofing
- Colorbond fascia and guttering
- Roof battens
- Architectural Colorbond wall cladding
Alongside our new-home work, we also carry out a range of existing home roofing maintenance and repair work, giving our team the opportunity to develop experience across different areas of the industry, including:
- Tile roof restoration and maintenance
- Bedding and pointing
- Wakaflex and lead work repairs/replacement
- Polycarbonate roof sheeting
- Skylight installation
- General roof repairs and maintenance
What You’ll Learn
For apprentices, this is a great opportunity to develop a well-rounded skill set while working primarily on new homes.
You’ll get hands-on experience with the full roofing process, from battens through to Colorbond installation, fascia, guttering and associated roofing work.
You’ll also have the opportunity to learn maintenance and repair work on existing homes, giving you experience that goes beyond just new construction.

For qualified tradesmen and leading hands, we’re looking for people with good roofing knowledge, quality workmanship and the ability to work independently and/or lead a small team.
