Salary: AUD $79,500 – $82,000 plus Superannuation
TOKOTSUYA CARLINGFORD is a busy Japanese food retail outlet located within Carlingford Court Shopping Centre. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee daily operations and support the continued growth of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail food outlet
- Supervise, train and coordinate front-of-house and food preparation staff
- Prepare staff rosters and monitor labour costs
- Manage inventory levels, stock ordering and supplier relationships
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve profitability
- Coordinate promotional and marketing activities
- Maintain customer service standards and resolve customer complaints
- Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety, and company procedures
- Oversee cash handling, daily reconciliations and operational reporting
- Monitor service delivery across in-store and online ordering platforms
Essential Requirements
- At least two years of relevant retail, hospitality or food service management experience
- Strong leadership and staff management skills
- Experience in inventory control, rostering and operational management
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
Desirable Qualifications
- Certificate IV, Diploma or higher qualification in Hospitality, Retail Management, Business, or a related field
- Experience working within a shopping centre food retail environment
- Experience managing online food delivery platforms such as Uber Eats or DoorDash
