HC / MC Drivers | Sydney Metro
Ongoing Opportunities | Day Shifts | 10–12 Hour Days | Immediate Starts
We are currently seeking experienced HC and MC Drivers for ongoing palletised freight work across Sydney Metro, including Smithfield and Ingleburn.

The Role
Drive HC/MC vehicles safely across Sydney Metro routes
Deliver and collect palletised freight
Complete daily pre-start checks and required paperwork
Ensure accurate compliance with transport requirements
Manage load restraint and fatigue requirements
Follow Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations
Carry out general freight duties as required
Maintain a high standard of safety and professionalism
About You
To be successful, you will have:
Current HC or MC licence
Minimum 2 years' Australian heavy vehicle driving experience
Confident reversing and trailer handling skills
Experience with coupling and uncoupling trailers
Experience operating tautliner/side curtain trailers
Strong knowledge of load restraint and fatigue management
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Ability to work early starts, generally 5:00am–6:00am
Ability to pass a medical, drug and alcohol screening and police check
Current Driver History Report
Fitness to Drive Certificate
Pay Rates
HC Drivers – $43.78 per hour
MC Drivers – $47.13 per hour
10–12 hour day shifts | Ongoing work | Immediate starts available
