About the Role
As a Driller Offsider, you'll be a vital member of the drilling crew, supporting daily operations and contributing to the safe and efficient delivery of drilling programs.
Responsibilities may include:

Assisting Drillers and crews with drilling operations
-
Equipment handling and rig support activities
-
Sample collection and presentation
-
Site preparation, maintenance and housekeeping
-
Loading and unloading materials and supplies
-
Operating vehicles, plant and equipment where authorised
-
Using power tools and supporting general labouring activities
-
Following procedures and safe work practices at all times
-
Working collaboratively within a small, close-knit team environment
What We're Looking For
Successful candidates are safety-focused, reliable and willing to work in physically demanding environments.
Ideally, you'll have:

HR Driver's Licence or the ability to obtain one
-
Previous experience in labouring, construction, civil, mining, drilling, agriculture or a related industry
-
A strong commitment to safety
-
Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
-
The ability to work in remote locations and challenging conditions
Highly regarded:

High Risk Work Licence
-
Experience operating plant or heavy equipment
-
Welding, grinding or other hot works experience
-
Previous drilling, mining or resource sector experience
Life on the Job
Our operations run around the clock and roster arrangements vary depending on project and client requirements.
Common roster patterns include:

2 weeks on/ 1 week off
-
2 weeks on/ 2 weeks off
-
3 weeks on/ 3 weeks off
You can also expect:

12-hour shifts minimum

Day and night shift rotations

Early starts and long workdays

Remote camp-based work environments

Additional hours to meet operational requirements when required
