At First Choice Support, we are dedicated to helping individuals live independently and comfortably in their own homes. We are looking for a reliable, compassionate, and hands-on Support Worker to join our team, assist our clients with everyday living, and grow alongside our expanding business.
The Role
We are seeking a versatile support worker available to work Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Personal Care: Assisting clients with day-to-day hygiene, grooming, and personal tasks.
- Domestic Assistance: Helping with house cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and light home maintenance.
- Gardening & Lawn Support: Lending a hand with basic yard care, weeding, and gardening tasks for clients who love outdoor spaces.
- Community & Transport: Escorting and driving clients to medical appointments, social outings, and running daily errands.
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine passion for helping others and an interest in outdoor work/gardening.
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and an empathetic mindset.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
- Relevant industry screenings (NDIS Worker Screening Check or Police Check) and First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
