We’re Hiring: Boilermakers & First-Class Welders – Full-Time
Location: Midvale, WA & Various Mine Sites
TIAM Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking experienced and motivated Boilermakers and First-Class Welders to join our growing Western Australian team. Experience in fixed plant maintenance, grinding mills and crushers will be highly regarded.
About the Role
Reporting to the Supervisor and Operations Manager, you’ll work as part of a skilled team delivering high-quality welding, maintenance and installation services across workshop, metropolitan, regional and remote sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate, repair and maintain fixed plant and structural components
- Perform maintenance on grinding mills, crushers and other fixed plant equipment
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications
- Mark out, cut, shape, fit and weld steel components
- Carry out high-quality welding, grinding and finishing
- Inspect completed welds and work for quality and accuracy
- Follow all safety and site procedures
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Travel to metro, regional, remote and occasional interstate/overseas locations
What We’re Looking For
- Trade-qualified Boilermaker or First-Class Welder
- Fixed plant maintenance experience highly regarded
- Grinding mill and crusher experience highly regarded
- Adaptable, reliable and able to quickly learn new tasks
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure
- Willingness to travel as required
Essential Requirements
- Trade Certificate – Boilermaker or First-Class Welder
- Construction White Card
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
- Federal/National Police Clearance
Desirable:
- EWP High-Risk Work Licence
- Working at Heights – within the last 2 years
