We are a small local family owned business specialising in the servicing, supply and installation of domestic, commercial and Industrial Shutters, Roller Doors, Panel Lifts, Openers and Electric Gates.
As a Garage Door Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining Garage Doors and related components for residential and commercial customers. You will need to be able to work independently, have excellent problem-solving skills, and provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities for the role
- Installation of Garage Doors from start to finish (Domestic and Commerical)
- Test/Service/Repair doors as required
- Work with various hand and power tools
- Install automatic openers
- Install Electric Gates & Openers
- Travel - This job will include some travel in the CQ area
Skills & Experience
- Reliable and trustworthy with strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience in Mechanical trade beneficial but not essential
- Experience using power tools and hand tools essential
- Current Manual Driver's license essential
- Technical mind-set, willing to learn new skills and products
- Problem Solving Skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong attitude to onsite safety
- White Construction Card is preferable
- EWP License beneficial but not essential as training will be provided
- Working at Heights beneficial but not essential as training will be provided
Pay: $29.00 – $35.00 per hour
