We are seeking multiple administration assistants for our diagnostic imaging clinics. This is a unique opportunity to join a boutique, self-managed privately owned group. The administration assistant is responsible for performing high quality reception, collating, billing and secretarial services to the patients, doctors and staff at the clinic in a caring and supportive manner.
Key Details:
- Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring enquiries.
- Optimises patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilisation by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
- Ensure patient has been informed and understands preparation required for examination.
- Assisting in workflow of the department by aiding in collating, billing and other administration duties.
To be preferred in this role you will have:
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Able to communicate effectively with a variety of people
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in use of keyboard with Microsoft Office programs and internet with an aptitude for new software programs.
- Previous experience in a medical practice environment
- Understanding of medical terminology
Position includes:
- Full-time permanent position
- Monday to Friday position, weekend shifts available
- No after hours, or public holiday work
- Guaranteed two weeks leave every Christmas/New Year holiday period.
- Opportunity to advance to a Team Leader position

Pay: $26.00 – $38.00 per hour

- Medical admin: 1 year (Preferred)
