About the Department/ Program
Reporting to the Manager, Digital Networks, the Senior Network Engineer delivers and supports Monash Health’s enterprise network services across all sites, ensuring reliable connectivity for clinical, corporate and critical/safety systems.
The role balances BAU operations and project delivery, leading Level 3 incident/problem support, high-risk changes and cutovers, and delivery of upgrades and migrations across LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi, data centre networking, voice and remote access (this roles will be leading SME for Cisco voice platform).
About the Role
Join our team as a Senior Network Engineer on a full time, ongoing to work at Monash Health based at Clayton. In this role, you will be guided under the leadership of the Head of Digital Infrastructure and working with the broader Digital Networks team.
Lead major incident response and restoration, with clear stakeholder updates.
Deliver assigned network initiatives (upgrades, migrations, refresh, and site works) end-to-end.
Participates in an after-hours on-call roster while working across sites as required.
About You
To be successful in this healthcare role, you will bring the following.
Demonstrated skills, experience, and attributes:
Tertiary and/or Industry Qualifications in Digital.
Experience with Cisco ISE for network access control, Cisco Firepower solution.
Mandatory requirements of the role:
Provide valid proof of your current right to work in Australia.
Complete and maintain required employment screening, including a National Police Check, employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) and, where relevant, Aged Care Worker Screening and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening
