Ozcare is a leading not-for-profit organisation supporting Queenslanders with a range of aged care, retirement living, hospital, disability care, respite care, nursing, allied health and dementia advisory and support services. Ozcare’s Transformation Office is responsible for driving a range of strategic initiatives focused on enhancing organisational and operational capability and comprises two key areas – Project Delivery and Enterprise Business Systems Support.
The Transformation Office is currently seeking a highly organised, outcomes focussed professional to join the team and provide management of its Enterprise Business Systems support operations.
Your Role
As Business Systems Manager, you will be responsible for leading Ozcare’s Business Systems team in the delivery of consistently high standards of technical and customer support. Amongst other things, this includes responsibility to:
- Successfully manage a team of professionals responsible for supporting, upgrading, and improving user experience of Enterprise Business Systems.
- Provide proactive day-to-day support, guidance and technical leadership for the team and effectively manage deliverables in line with changing and/or conflicting business priorities.
- Provide senior level technical support and problem resolution, related to business application software and integrations as required.
- Create, develop and/or manage appropriate protocols, processes and standards associated with the use of business applications used across the organisation.
- Carefully monitor the ongoing functional performance and useability of business applications.
- Develop and manage appropriate analysis and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes, including assisting with testing of business applications during upgrades and new releases.
- Assist and support the implementation and management of business processes and procedures, including those specifically relating to the use of Ozcare’s business applications and integrations.
- Develop and maintain high quality documentation, including technical knowledge articles, end user training materials etc.
- Participate in and contribute to Business Systems / Application related projects as required.
- Chair the Business Reference Group meetings held for each business area, engaging with Executives, operational subject matter experts, and project teams.
- Cultivate a positive, high performance team culture focussed on delivering exceptional technical and customer service outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of best practices, policies, and procedures.
- Assist in driving continual process improvement as well as user adherence to process.
Role Requirements
- Comprehensive knowledge of and experience in the successful delivery of Enterprise Business Systems operations.
- Strong working knowledge of systems design, development, implementation and user support principles and practices.
- Strong experience and use of the Microsoft Office 365 platform, SharePoint 365, MS Teams.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Results orientated outlook and strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work to deadlines and effectively handle pressure, balance competing tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the needs of the client and the demands of the operation.
- Experience with Snaplogic is highly regarded but not a requirement.
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- High levels of discretion and professionalism in managing confidentiality of information.
- Highly effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Due to the highly collaborative nature of the role and the requirement for regular in-person interaction among Ozcare Executive / Project Sponsors and team members, this is mainly an office-based role with some flexibility for WFH at times.
- Current Police Screening Certificate.
