In this role, you'll:
be providing paralegal services to support the efficient operations of the Government, Regulatory & Prosecutions legal team.
You will be job sharing this role with another Paralegal who will work the remaining two days of the week.
You will assist the Lawyers in the team with legal research.
You will also prepare court documents, including statements of facts, and compile briefs of evidence for court.
You will also assist Lawyers in the team with triaging and preparing responses to privacy related queries, privacy reporting and other ad hoc legal tasks.
This is a temporary part time-time role ( up to 24 months) working 3 days a week.

About you
You are a motivated Law student looking to gain experience or start your career in law.
You will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You will also be able to work collaboratively, as this role will see you job sharing with another paralegal.
You will have excellent time management and prioritisation skills as you will be providing legal assistance to a team of Lawyers. You will also have a knack for technology as this role will see you use multiple systems to complete your tasks, including online legal research.
