About the role
We are looking for a reliable, motivated Sales Assistant / Operator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, has great attention to detail, and is happy to work hands-on in a production environment.
You will be involved in both customer service and embroidery production, supporting day-to-day operations in a busy, well-established embroidery and workwear business.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting customers in-store, via phone and email
- Providing quotes and taking orders for embroidery and workwear
- Operating embroidery machines (training provided)
- Preparing garments for embroidery (hooping, loading, checking)
- Quality checking finished products
- Packing and dispatching orders
- General workshop duties and maintaining a tidy workspace
About you
- Friendly, reliable and customer-focused
- Strong attention to detail
- Willing to learn embroidery machines and production processes
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Retail, sales, or production experience preferred (but not essential)
