VPS 4 Surveillance Officer

Responsible for maintaining positive relationships with Technical, Engineering, Planning and Engagement Advisors and contractor's construction teams, proactively resolving issues as they arise, including attendance and providing input into coordination meetings.
Exercise judgement in the delivery of construction activities including service relocations, earthworks, pavements, drainage, surfacing, traffic management, traffic signals and bridgeworks according to project scope, in accordance with VIDA Roads policies, standards, specifications and guidelines.
The Surveillance Officer performs surveillance and auditing of all site investigations, transport infrastructure construction and maintenance work across assigned projects. The role undertakes the implementation of risk-based site surveillance of assigned works under quality assured contracts, managing resolution of issues on site with contractor/s.
This opportunity is a 3 Year Fixed Term Position
It will be a requirement to travel and spend time at one or all our site offices.
