Epoch International College is seeking a suitably qualified and industry-current Trainer and Assessor to deliver and assess the CPC31320 Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling. This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant training and assessment in accordance with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015, the relevant CPC Training Package, and Epoch International College policies and procedures.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Training and Assessment Delivery
· Deliver face-to-face training and conduct assessment for CPC31320 – Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling in accordance with the approved Training and Assessment Strategy (TAS)
· Implement assessment practices that are valid, reliable, fair, flexible, and sufficient
· Use approved training and assessment resources and provide feedback for continuous improvement
· Adapt delivery methods to meet learner needs while maintaining compliance with Training Package requirements
2. Student Support and Engagement
· Monitor learner attendance, engagement, progress, and competency outcomes
· Provide academic guidance, learning support, and timely feedback to learners
· Identify learner barriers and actively support learner re-engagement strategies
· Demonstrate resilience, professionalism, and effective interpersonal skills when working with mixed learner cohorts
3. Compliance and Administration
· Maintain accurate, complete, and compliant training and assessment records
· Complete all required documentation in line with Epoch International College policies and procedures
· Record attendance, assessment evidence, and course progression in the learner management system
· Scan, upload, and securely store learner documentation to meet compliance and audit requirements
· Work strictly within the requirements of the approved Training and Assessment Strategy (TAS)
4. Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement
· Participate in validation, moderation, and industry consultation activities
· Review training and assessment materials and contribute to continuous improvement processes
· Work collaboratively with management and other staff to improve training quality and compliance outcomes
5. Professional Currency and Development
· Maintain current vocational competency relevant to wall and floor tiling
· Maintain current training and assessment competency
· Undertake ongoing professional development in both industry practice and vocational education and training
· Provide documented evidence of industry and training currency as required
6. Workplace Health and Safety
· Implement and monitor WHS procedures relevant to wall and floor tiling training environments
· Ensure learner safety in accordance with organisational policies and legislative requirements
Skills, Qualifications, and ExperienceEssential Requirements:
· Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
· Vocational competency at least to Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling (CPC31320) or higher
· Current and relevant industry experience in wall and floor tiling
· Demonstrated knowledge of the Standards for RTOs 2015
· Ability to demonstrate industry and training currency through documented evidence
· Strong written, verbal, and digital communication skills
· Effective time management, organisation, and attention to detail
· Ability to adapt delivery strategies to maintain learner engagement
Desirable Requirements:
· Experience delivering training to international students
· Experience working within an RTO environment
· Competency using learner management systems (e.g. Moodle) and Microsoft Office
