The Opportunity
This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) position available on a permanent or fixed-term basis, with potential for extension or transition to permanency.
As part of a well-supported surgical team, you will provide comprehensive orthopaedic services including:

Outpatient clinics, elective and emergency procedures

On-call and acute care responsibilities

Clinical leadership and supervision of junior medical staff

Participation in teaching, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
You will play a key role in shaping and expanding orthopaedic services within a progressive regional setting.

You will be based at a modern regional health campus functioning as a secondary referral centre for a large catchment population. The facility includes:

Salary & Benefits

$412,161 – $523,436 per annum (Consultant Year 1–9)

Inclusive of base salary, 12% superannuation, and professional development allowance

About You

Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia
