The Role
Reporting to the Sales & Marketing team, you will manage the day-to-day coordination of bulk-product orders and support our 24/7 loading operation through the weighbridge system.
You will be responsible for ensuring customer orders and transactions are processed accurately and on time, maintaining clear communication with customers and transport providers, and supporting product availability across our Birkenhead and Angaston sites.
The role also provides support to our packaged-products customer service function during periods of leave and increased demand. Limited after-hours on-call and alternate weekend coverage forms part of this position.
This is a 12 month maternity leave cover.
Responsibilities

Manage daily bulk-product orders to support accurate, timely customer deliveries.

Coordinate bulk loading activity through the weighbridge system.

Reconcile daily weighbridge transactions to SAP and ensure all transactions are processed correctly.

Monitor bulk-product allocations for Birkenhead and Angaston, communicating supply concerns with the sales team.

Maintain accurate weighbridge data in accordance with sales, accounts and Chain of Responsibility requirements.

Liaise with transport companies to ensure driver inductions and vehicle information are current.

Assist with follow-up and resolution of transport-related incidents.

Process packaged-product orders and provide coverage for the packaged-products customer service role as required.

Deliver professional, responsive service to customers, logistics partners and internal stakeholders.

Participate in limited after-hours on-call and alternate weekend coverage.

The following experience will be highly regarded:

Experience in construction materials, transport, logistics, manufacturing or a related industry.

Knowledge of truck configurations, load mass, fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility requirements.

Experience using SAP and/or weighbridge systems.
