We're excited to welcome a Nurse Practitioner - Urology to our Surgery and Critical Care team.

The Urology Service provides expert planned surgical and emergent response urological care. The Nurse Practitioner provides direct expert nursing care and will initiate, implement and monitor relevant interventional therapies and interpret diagnostic pathology as part of the role which also includes the authority to prescribe medications and initiate direct referrals to other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities include:
Exercise professional and clinical expertise in collaboration with nursing and midwifery and multi-disciplinary stakeholders.
Take a lead role in ensuring targets are met in an efficient and effective manner which will include collaborating with the multidisciplinary partners to ensure patients receive the most appropriate care in the most appropriate place by the most appropriate personnel.
Participate with other members of the healthcare team in providing support and mentorship to new and less experienced staff.
Engage in incident reporting and participate in quality improvement activities to promote safe and /or rectify unsafe practice.
Remuneration value up to $187 710 p.a., comprising salary between $157 579 - $164 519 p.a. (f/t), or salary rates: $79.47 - $82.99 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 8) (Fixed Term Temporary position available for up to 26 September 2027).
