Overview
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Tile Fixers to join our dynamic construction team! Duties
- Measure, cut, and lay tiles accurately according to project specifications and blueprints
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or mortar
- Install various types of flooring including ceramic, porcelain, stone, or glass tiles with precision
- Read and interpret construction blueprints and technical drawings to ensure correct tile placement
- Use hand tools such as trowels, cutters, spacers, and levels to achieve flawless results
- Perform caulking and sealing around tiled surfaces to prevent water intrusion and enhance durability
- Collaborate with carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople to coordinate installation processes effectively
Qualifications
- Proven experience with tile laying, flooring installation, and general construction work
- Proficiency in using hand tools specific to tiling and carpentry tasks
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Knowledge of various tile materials and appropriate installation techniques
- Experience with caulking, grout application, and surface preparation techniques
- Handyman experience or background in construction enhances versatility on the job site
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
