Ventia are currently looking for a highly experienced Vehicle Inspector to Join the Domestic Transport team in support of the Base Living Working Services Contract.
This role would see you perform all trade and reporting related tasks associated with the maintenance and repair of vehicles, plant and equipment. Also to ensure quality requirements are met and that warranty and rework claims are investigated and reported on in a timely manner as well as Provide guidance to the Scheduler / Site Manager on rework.

Responsibilities:
-
Clean, detail, and maintain vehicle interiors and exteriors to a high standard.

Conduct quality inspections to ensure vehicles are operational and presentation-ready.

Work closely with mechanics and logistics teams to support maintenance activities.

Manage cleaning supplies and equipment inventory.
-
Troubleshoot vehicle issues and assist in maintaining fleet readiness.

Deliver excellent customer service to military personnel and stakeholders.

Inspect military vehicles for safety and compliance

Support fleet maintenance and operational readiness

Follow Defence and SHEQ standards

Identify and resolve vehicle or process issues
-
Promote a safe and compliant workplace

Complete mandatory safety training and program
Qualifications & Skills:
-
Experience in vehicle inspections, automotive maintenance, or a related field.
-
Relevant automotive qualifications or vocational training (Highly regarded).
-
Certifications in Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), Certified Vehicle Inspector (CVI), or equivalent (High regarded).

Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, brakes, steering, suspension, and electrical components.

Proficient in using diagnostic and vehicle inspection equipment.

Experience with vehicle detailing and presentation standards.

Understanding of safety, compliance, and quality requirements within a regulated environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues.

Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
