The ACT Insurance Authority, an ACT Government Statutory Authority, is looking for an enthusiastic, positive and motivated individual, who has a passion for captive insurance management, to join us as the Director, Insurance. You will be an integral part of a small, fully integrated insurance team to manage the Authority’s captive insurance program including delivery of insurance and reinsurance outcomes appropriate to the ACT Government. The Insurance team is responsible for providing support, guidance, and education to stakeholders in relation to general insurance matters.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly dedicated and contemporary insurance professional with demonstrated experience in designing innovative solutions to meet stakeholder requirements. To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate relevant experience and insurance policy skills, excellent leadership and communication skills (oral, written, interpersonal, and negotiation), highly organised with attention to detail, together with a view to continuous improvement to aim for best practice processes.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:

Experience with or knowledge of the Insurance Industry is essential.
Note: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
