Overview:
The Senior Project Officer:
Contributes to the successful delivery of a range of complex projects and initiatives that contribute to the development of service redesign, policies and strategies that aim to support better healthcare for all South Australians.
Works collaboratively with the Department for Health and Wellbeing, Local Health Networks, other service providers, and stakeholders to coordinate and implement project plans and strategies to support health system service initiatives.
Contributes to critical analysis of data and information to support evidence-based decision-making and evaluates and monitors projects to identify issues and barriers.
The Senior Project Officer will also assist in managing other projects, strategies and preparing briefings and other documents as required.

Criminal History Screening Requirement
A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment).
A DHS ‘Working With Children Check’ (WWCC) required for this position.
Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact).
SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
