We design and manufacture electronic products on the Sunshine Coast, from PCB assembly through to finished, tested units. Our production team is flat out and we need another pair of skilled hands on the floor.
What you'll be doing:
- Assembling PCBs into enclosures, building wiring harnesses, and general mechanical assembly of products
- Soldering to a high standard
- Following build sheets, drawings and work instructions accurately
- Keeping pace with production targets without cutting corners on quality
You'll need:
- Genuine, demonstrable through-hole soldering skill. Hobby, TAFE, or paid experience all count, but you need to be able to demonstrate during an interview
- Good manual dexterity and comfort with fine, repetitive bench work
- Ability to read drawings, wiring diagrams and build instructions
- Reliable, honest, and happy to flag a problem rather than let it slide
Nice to have (not essential):
- Experience with SMT assembly or basic electronics fault-finding
- Previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment
- Experience with wiring harness/crimping work
What we offer:
- Steady, full-time work in a small, hands-on team
- A real path to grow your skills across the floor over time
- Kunda Park location, easy Sunshine Coast commute
This is an entry level position but with the potential to grow with skills over time.
To apply:
Include a cover letter to tell us specifically what soldering you've done: what you've built, where, and roughly how much of it. We'll ask you to demonstrate on the bench as part of the interview, so come ready to show us rather than just describe it.
Pay: From $27.08 per hour
